Kindly State University is looking for staff positions.
Many available, or make up your own!

***This position is for those who are interested in a ROLE PLAY job, and is not something that will offer you quick L$ if you are new to second life. ***

What it is:
It is a role play sim dedicated to the college scene. KSU offers lots of different role play environments, such as Greek life, Teaching staff, Sports, parties, dorms, anything you can imagine happening in college is game here at Kindly State. Kindly State University or KSU is not a sexual or 'dark' themed role play sim, although it is a mature sim, with adult jokes, content, and plenty of wit and sarcasm...

We are currently looking for those who are interested in becoming a staff member - whether it be a janitor, campus police man or woman, librarian, or professor.

Where is it?
Kindly State University is found on the 'Kindly' sim, which is a PRIVATE sim. It is closed to the general public, but is open to everyone who wishes to apply for college. In order to get onto the sim, you'll need to fill out an application for role play. Joining the access groups is the only way you can gain access to the sim. They are closed enrollment, so you'll have to do the application to get an invite.

Who can do this?
Minimum avatar age for teaching any classes at KSU is 30 days. SOME exceptions may be made depending on quality of your application. Alts are more than welcome to join our teaching staff, and there is no minimum avatar age limit with proof of whose avatar it is. Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you will be invited into the Kindly State Employees group. This group is specifically for professors and other role play staff. You will then be free to TP into the sim. We ask that you spend time on your Avatar before you come to Kindly. Develop their character background, history, personality so you know exactly how they will react when you are in the sim. Spend time getting skins, shapes, clothes, accessories and props for your character. You must be prepared to titillate us with your writing / emote skills too!

When does this happen?
You may teach with or without a specific schedule. You may begin teaching as soon as you enter the sim at any time. What you decide to teach and where you decide to teach it is up to you. You can hold literature classes under the shade of a tree, or physics classes dropping things off buildings. You may teach however you would like with the environment provided. If you would like to use the Lecture hall or any of the labs, please check the staff schedule provided to be sure there is no scheduled classes there for that time.

How much do I make?
***This position is for those who are interested in a ROLE PLAY job, and is not something that will offer you quick L$ if you are new to second life. *** Staff positions are unpaid + tips. Students are encouraged to tip you, and this will *probably* also reflect your role play skills as well. We realize that for many, sending in an application to become accepted to a sim is a lot of work, but it is a requirement for our sim to maintain the environment here. Thanks for understanding this!

Okay, so then how do I apply?
The usual way to apply for a staff position job is to go to our website and apply through the application provided by copying and pasting to our application email, which you can do if you so choose.

Since this if my first time posting about this on the forums, I'm offering the option to skip the email part and send it to my account directly in-world. This offer is for staff members only, and students must still apply through the website.

To apply in-world:
1. Read our rules and TOS regarding Kindly and our staff, found here:
http://home.kindlystate.com/applyforstaff
2. Click the 'continue to staff application' if you agree to the terms of service and rules.
3. Copy and paste that application into a note card and fill it out. Please title your note card "KSU STAFF APPLICATION" or something of the like.
4. Send the note card to Redd Columbia in world. I will be reviewing applications and getting back to you as soon as I can. If you need any assistance or have any questions, please IM or send a note card (in case my IMs cap). You can also email me at ReddColumbia@kindlystate.com

We are keeping our options open and learning from any mistakes as they come, so please bare with us as we shape and reshape our quality of role play at Kindly.
