You should create a business plan in writing for this venue, create a budget (In writing) and plan the advancement of the venue projecting a minimum of a year in advance. Then you can be taken more seriously. And folks will see you have the ability to run such a business.

I appreaciate your concern. However, what makes you think I don't have a business plan. I am certainly not going to put it out there for everyone to see. And forgive me if you don't see my sense of humor in this.

My feeling is that if someone responds that gets the humor in this, then we would be more of a working match. It is at that point that they would find out that I have a Masters degree and despite my flawed sense humor and occasional typo's, that I am fairly intelligent and quite capable.

I assumed you did not have a business plan because you made no mention of it nor did you offer to show it to serious investors.
LOL. Serious investors with any knowledge of running a venue and creating income from a parcel would probably not consider off-the-cuff humor as a priority before investing. But you do your thing.

Lias, Your comments while on the surface appear to be helpful and well meaning(wishing that they were)... yet on the contrary are really quite snide and very degrading. I realize this is a public post so anyone can say what they like, within moderators standards... however, if you are genuinely concerned about helping people generate income in sl, I suggest a private i.m. with an offer of service or assistance. (you obviously have some personal/professional agenda. ) You may be pleasantly surprised with the results. Putting down someones approach publicly only makes you look bad and not very approachable. I know what I am capable of, my can/will do list if significantly longer than my won't do list. (Notice there isn't a "can't do" list).
