Description:
The Dominion Corporation seeks a City Manager to drive planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns for the newly established town of Port Dominion. As a fresh and developing new community, Port Dominion will need to be on the cutting edge by providing unique, fun, and family oriented events. Through the newly created town we hope to increase the awareness and productivity of the various Dominion Corporation brands throughout the development. A successful candidate should be able to oversee and participate in the creation of marketing strategies, report results and concepts to upper management, learn from the results of past promotions and events to build more effective future programs, and manage a team of qualified individuals to carry out various duties pertaining to the tasks. Possibility for promotion, raises, and extended benefits available.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage a staff of qualified individuals to assist with the duties listed below.
- Plan, Create and Execute marketing strategies and events to increase traffic to the town and surrounding businesses.
- Maintain an active member update group for activities, promotions and events.
- Create and publish listings for events in proper mediums (LL event listing, map, etc.)
- Analyze performance of promotions, always seeking ways to improve.
- Report actions, ideas and concepts to upper management frequently for review.
Qualifications:
- Basic PhotoShop are a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to work and manage a small team of persons to reach goals.
- Must be open minded and willing to take feedback or review.
- Must be reliable.
- Basic concepts of marketing, promotion, leadership and SL events.
- Good typing skills and a good understanding of the English language.
- Ownership or experience of owning/running a business, brand or venue is a plus, but not required.
Education and Experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of SL experience
