I am newer to SL and want to learn scripts, etc. but do not have a lot of time. Anytime self learning would take away from my time as a resident. If you would be interested in being a paid tutor as well as create gestures, etc., please let me know. I will pay 6L/hour paid in 15 minute increments.
You must be an experienced resident as well as patient and a good teacher. LMK!

If you get anyone willing to teach you at that rate they will either charge nothing or be useless.

Hi Colette, welcome to second life. You can assist to free scripting lessons at the many universities that you can find in second life. Go to search / events tab and search for "script" or "scripting", one of the unversities I know is Fermi University for example and there are many others that offers free lessons. Also I recommend you to take a look at lslwiki, here are two nice tutorials for beginners: http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=LSL101http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=CrashCourseLSL is a programming language just like any other so it will help you a lot if you learn something about basics of programming.
