Greetings, thanks for your interest in my project.

You are a marketing, promotional, or advertising consultant and I have been running the "Great Gridwide Goldrush" (sl-goldrush.com) since July of this year.

It is a free game where Gold Hunters visit a list of locations around the grid and search for gold nuggets. The nuggets pay out cash and merchandise prizes and each find enters the hunter into a weekly jackpot draw. Game Sponsors buy and hide the nuggets to attract the players, and I use the purchase revenues to fund the prizes and advertising of the game. The nuggets are bought for 3, 7, 15, and 31 day periods and can be found by an unlimited number of hunters. The website maintains a current list of all the locations and finds.

Feedback has been amazing and growth has been slow and steady, but has recently reached a plateau, so I am looking for someone to help me kick it into high gear.

To give you an idea of where I'm at: Since Jul 1 07 we have given about L$160,000 in prizes to about 2000 hunters who logged about 21500 finds at locations owned by our 220 different sponsors. The weekly jackpot fluctuates around 6-8k, and gold inworld is usually 50-55 nuggets these days (62 right now!). In addition to some basic advertising I've been using free commission vendor & sign kits to help grow, and I've managed to keep 100 new hunters and 10 new sponsors coming my way each week. Overall hunter/sponsor retention (the number who stay with the game for more than one week) is growing, but slowly.

I don't believe that I'm anywhere near full market potential for this idea, and would like to see these numbers triple or quadruple in short order. The vision for this project is to be as popular as lucky chairs. I am a programmer, not a marketer, please help me.

If you are a results oriented marketing, promotional, or advertising consultant who is up to this task, please contact me so we can discuss details of a contract. Payment terms are 100% negotiable, in world or out. Let's talk. IM me in world or PM on the board, I'd like to hear from you.
