Sub Zero Host – Job Description
- In general: conversation with the guests, creating a positive atmosphere for them during their stay at the club
- Welcoming the arriving guests/saying, good bye to them, personal approach (name)
- Helping out guests with problems (showing new SL residents the position and function of the dance ball, function of music player, etc.)
- Adding new members to the group
- Sending creative group notices to our growing list of VIP's to announce our DJ's and events.
- Promoting our awesome DJ's and also the House.
- Supplying Landmarks/TPs to the guests, contacting them either via group chat or personal IMs
- Inviting new guests from own friends list and/or other groups the host is member of
- Explaining the house rules (publicly displayed in the club) to guests, contacting them (if necessary, via IM) in cases of extreme lag caused by excessive particles use and kindly asking them to remove the “special effects”
- Most importantly - HAVE fun! And you also must be a team player.
- Payment is tip based. It depends on how hard you work and how much fun you have! Average Host shift (3 hours) between $750 - $1,500.
The general musical line of Sub Zero is Industrial/EBM/Electro/Darkwave/Synthpop. If you are not a fan of this style of music, Sub Zero may not be the place for you.
Skills in other languages than English are highly appreciated and very helpful, but not strictly required. Just be prepared to deal with a crowd often consisting of people whose first language is not English.
