I am looking for a reliable Host Manager and reliable Hosts. This means you're serious about what you do, and if you make a commitment, you show up or have a good reason not to (like something in real life).

Host Manager - you must have experience. You must know how to interview, hire, manage, and fire hosts. You must know how to post things to Second Life Events, make announcements and Notices to groups, and you must be good at being a Host. You will receive 90% of your tips until traffic picks up in our new venue, after which we can discuss weekly pay.

Hosts - First and foremost, you must show up for work for the shifts you commit to, or have a good reason why not, preferably beforehand. Suddenly having a date for sex (or something similar), suddenly being called up by your Master/Mistress, or "going clubbing in SL" is NOT a good reason. Ignoring the head Host or the Owners of the venue is not a smart idea; would you ignore your boss in a real life job? Hosts receive 80% of their tips so the harder you work, the more you make.

We have been present on our current sim for a little while, but the venue we have constructed is brand-new, so don't expect big crowds right off the bat. We all work together to make things fun, exciting, and attractive, so you will be expected to do the same.

This job might be for "funny money" but if you want to earn it you will have to treat it as though it's a "real" job. You must be reliable, trustworthy, and know how to say something if there's a problem. We're all adults here so you will be expected to behave like one; drama will NOT be tolerated.

Those applying for Head Host must have at least 3 months in SL and prior experience.

Those applying for regular hosts must be at least 14 days old and have mastered the basics of the Second Life interface. This means knowing how to fill out a notecard application and give it to the right person, how to operate simple scripted objects like tipjars and dance balls, how to use the various functions on your Viewer. You will be trained on the finer points.

If you are still interested after reading all of this, contact Marie Resch inworld for an application.
