Rihanna Laasonen and Blackberry Jewell will be hosting a Full Moon Meeting for Worship on the Southern Continent on Monday, October 5. This is a blended Friends/Pagan meeting, and all are welcome -- it will help if you're familiar with paganism, Quakerism, or both, but it's not necessary.
3:30 to 4 pm SLT -- Time for gathering and rezzing and asking questions
4 to 5 pm -- Worship-sharing
5 to 6 pm -- Potluck and chat; come and go as you please
Circle will be cast at the start of worship-sharing, but it will otherwise be held in an unprogrammed Quaker style. (If anyone would like to volunteer to call the quarters, please let me know.) Build will temporarily be turned on for all, so you can bring your own favorite cushions or potluck dishes.
This virtual meeting is being held in conjunction with a real-world Philadelphia meeting (http://smorganappel.googlepages.com/quakerpaganministry), and folks from the Philadelphia or Asheville, NC, areas or who have connections to Bryn Mawr or Haverford are particularly encouraged to attend. But again, all are welcome. We are LGBT-friendly, poly-friendly, furry-friendly, child-av-friendly... pretty much everything-friendly.
