One of my favorite spots in Second Life is the Whale Watching dock at the Star Trek Museum. I love to sit on the dock, and watch George and Gracie, the whales brought back to the 23rd Century by Admiral Kirk and his crew in Star Trek IV, playing in the waves. Sometimes I dive in and swim with them! There's a radio on the dock that plays great Star Trek tunes, whether from movie soundtracks, the Trek-themed band Warp 11, or any of a bunch of other Trek-related music. You can grab a free humpback whale plush toy!
Best of all, I like setting my environmental settings to Midnight (World > Environmental Settings > Midnight) and setting off the fireworks display. Make sure to set your view to Mouselook for the best view.
There's a ton of things to do at the Trek Museum, and maybe this seems like the least of its pleasures. But for me, it's one of the best places on the grid. I highly commend it to you!
