This week at the Palace Theater we have decided that every hour is midnight so we have no choice but to show some real Midnight Movies! We will be featuring Roger Corman’s Famous for being shot in two days “The Little Shop of Horrors” with Jack Nicholson, and quite probably the worst movie ever made and almost certainly the only movie ever made by a car dealer on a bet “Manos: The Hands of Fate”.
Friday through Sunday we will be showing "The Little Shop of Horrors" at 11 am SLT and 5 pm SLT and "Manos: The Hands of Fate" at 2 pm SLT and 8 pm SLT.
Monday and Wednesday we will be showing "Manos: The Hands of Fate" at 11 am SLT, 2 pm SLT, 5 pm SLT, and 8 pm SLT
Tuesday and Thursday we will be showing "The Little Shop of Horrors" at 11 am SLT, 2 pm SLT, 5 pm SLT, and 8 pm SLT
“The Little Shop of Horrors”
Directed by Roger Corman
With Jack Nicholson
Seymour is a young man who works in a flower store. He manages to create a carnivorous plant that feeds on human flesh. Nobody knows about it, so Seymour and the plant become good "friends". The plant needs food to grow up, so it convinces him to start killing people.
“Manos: The Hands of Fate”
A family on vacation in the desert takes a wrong turn and ends up in an old dark house run by the creepy Torgo, who says he takes care of the place while The Master is away. As night falls the family is menaced by The Master and his wives, a supernatural cult that worships the evil deity known as Manos.
There is no charge for admission, we have free popcorn, and free posters for the movies we show. We also always have something up on the screen 24 hours a day. So come out and enjoy some real so bad they’re good, (to make fun of), classics with your friends in SL's classic, free, art house, movie theater...
