Overview:
The parade will begin in Tuliptree Station, South Heterocera, and progress along the Linden rail system crossing 72 sims, terminating at Bhaga Station in South East Heterocera. You can rez vehicles in the parcel which follows the track in Tuliptree, or should you choose to, you can wait at one of the many stations along the route and I'm sure you will be able to hitch a ride and will be welcome. At the end of the Parade there will be an after-party at Yui Bon (one of the Flossberg locations), featuring a live band playing Rail themed music, as well as Rail themed gifts and freebies.
There will be representatives of many of the leading SL train builders there to meet and talk to, as well as some of the leading Rail enthusiasts in SL. The parade is approved by Michael Linden, the main driving force behind the creation of the fantastic Linden Rail System, which continues to expand across Heterocera.
The parade is the brainchild of the Flossberg Rail group founder, Dougie Flossberg. Dougie and his group work towards creating interesting and fun places for visitors to explore, usually with a rail theme and always free to visit. Often the places are large areas, if not full sims, and usually have all manner of interactive or automated attractions, such as trains you can ride, vehicles moving around, automated crash scenareos, theme park rides, as well as things to explore for the sake of wandering around.
