A friend of mine is going through an incredibly rough period. His 5 year old daughter (who is in the custody of his ex-wife) has allegedly (legalese...) been the victim of rape and child abuse by a friend of her mother's. There's a lot more to this story but in a nutshell, my friend, Daku Hax is about to mount an expensive legal battle to regain custody of her so she can be safe. Daku is by no means a rich man and is in serious need of any financial help people might be able to give.The story can be found here:

A number of his friends are working together on a giant charity auction. We've all put up numerous items for auction with all proceeds going to Daku and his legal fund to help get his daughter back. Any excess money collected (should a miracle happen) will be donated to other worthwhile child abuse charities.
