Season 3 is drawing to a close and we congratulate the Ravens of the European division, and the Moose and Whales of the North American division, on their top finishes! The Moose and Whales will face off against each other this week for the title of division winner. Games will be held on Tuesday, Thursday evening and Saturday and Sunday over the next 2 weeks. It is a best of 7 series. Stop on by Jericho Hill to catch the action.

The end of the season was exciting with the Whales, Wolves and Moose all tightly racing for a playoff spot. The Cobras, in the meanwhile, without hope of a spot nevertheless fought hard to make their own mark on the outcomes and succeeded in that!

We also had an exciting night last week when a practical joke was played on our sportscaster, Vox Mullen from SLCN. Vox agreed to film a brief "exhibition" game for advertising purposes, between the Moose and the Cobras. Little did Vox realize it was a set up. Both teams had pre-planned a huge, bloody, mind-blowing fight on the ice, which erupted after only 6 seconds of "play" and one faceoff. Vox was a good sport, though, proceeding with the filming and the result is a hilarious piece of video which will soon be available from SLCN.
