L$10,000 Video Tour Contest

I'm not sure if this whole thing can be considered an "event" with the party at the end culminating it or if just the party can be considered an event. In either case, I thought people might want a chance at the L$10,000 grand prize that we're giving away that day. So here's the deal...

To promote the "Dune Apocalypse" roleplaying sim, the owners are offering a L$10,000 prize for a videocast that best presents the experience of playing there (http://slurl.com/secondlife/dune/128/128/128/?title=Dune).

It's free to enter the island and free to participate in the contest ... We'll be accepting videos until Friday, October 12, 2007. Top five video entries will be posted on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.

Then... the winner will be announced Friday, October 19, 2007 during a sim-wide event party at the main plaza on the Dune island (time TBA). We'll view the top entries at random, give away freebies, then hand out the grand prize.

We have gotten some ideas so far, and I have to say they sound good. Can't wait to see them.
