DAZ3D invites you on SATURDAY, May 17, 2008, to the opening of their island and the big release of the latest version of their modeling program, HEXAGON, which is the first 3D program to have company-implemented-and-supported Second Life SCULPTED PRIMS.
Join us for a day of contests, raffles, classes, music and dancing! Enjoy the island and explore the sights! Visit the shops! Get the FREEBIES!
We will be holding raffles and contests all day long with prizes that include copies of their premiere software packages: Bryce, Mimic Pro, Carrara and, of course, HEXAGON.
CYPRESS ROSEWOOD IN CONCERT in the sky above the Faerie Forest! Master musician, Cypress Rosewood will play from 7 pm - 8 pm SLT and will be followed by dancing from 8pm - 10 pm SLT (though we can easily be coerced to keep on dancing).
There will be video tutorials available on LOGO ISLANDS, just off the edge of the main island, where you can learn about HEXAGON and many other DAZ-related topics of interest. A class has been developed to show you how to use Hexagon and make and bring a sculpted prim into Second Life (3 pm SLT and 6 pm SLT). There are also sculpt examples made with HEXAGON (look for the MADE WITH HEXAGON placard) throughout the island.
In addition, we have goodies for your avie, from tshirts and earrings to a DAZ Island exclusive shoulder pet, TYRANOSAURUS HEX, king of the sculpties!
