"A Change is as Good as a Holiday"



Do you have a friend whose look just doesn’t work?

Are they stuck in a rut they can’t get out of?

Are they always complaining that they can’t afford anything nice?

Are they spending all their hard earned L$ on others?

Then Nominate them for the Appearance Mode “A Change is as Good as a Holiday” makeover competition.


This is not only about someone having a lack of or odd sense of style. It’s more about being deserving of such a makeover. Nominate someone you think deserves a makeover, even if they already have fabulous skin and clothing. This competition was created for all those hard working, caring individuals out there who never seem to have time to pamper themselves.

The Great thing about this Competition too is that a Male and Female winner will be chosen ) .

Below are the Rules for the Competition and MUST be Followed.


* The winner must be nominated and you CANNOT nominate yourself , this means also that the Nominee and the Nominater will be posted at the end of the Comp , plus this IS all about helping someone else )



* Both the parties involved in the nomination process MUST have been in Second Life for at least 60 days at the time of nomination, ( you cannot be turning 60 in a few days etc ) make sure and check the details of age in profile to be sure first .


* The note card MUST be titled as follows: “(person nominated name) Holiday Nomination”. If the note card is not titled correctly then it will be trashed, and the NoteCard MUST be sent full perms in case other opinions are needed on the Judging side of things .


* You can only nominate one person. Multiple people can nominate the same person. Your whole group of friends could think you really need a makeover.


* 200 words explaining WHY the person nominated needs and deserves such a makeover, be creative, be emotional, be hilarious, DONT be boring!


* Only the winner will receive any prizes. Non-transfer items WILL NOT be sent to someone other than the competition winner.


This competition will run until the 7th of July 2007 hee hee I just thought that was fun to allow time for all entries and then a few days after that the winners will be announced.

We have gotten such good feed back from so many people in regards to Prize Giving and I would love to thank them all very much , if you got a notecard from me or if you didnt ( but you would love to donate towards this feel free to IM me we need Male or Female Prizes or both lol , and definitely More Male Prizes will be awesome lol

But there are Skins , Shapes , Clothing , Hair and Shoes and this is a wonderful chance for you to realy show love towards your friends and family members or work associates , I cant wait to read the notecards so start dropping them on me as soon as possible as the Competition starts NOW !!
