Sit in Captain Kirk's chair

Oh, come on - you know you want to! Who doesn't, secretly, want to sit in Captain Kirk's command chair, on the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise, "no bloody A, B, C or D"? I'll be honest, it was a story in the media about the life-sized replica of the Enterprise bridge, on display at the Star Trek Museum, that made me first consider getting an account on Second Life.

What, you mean I can wear an Enterprise uniform, sit in Captain Kirk's chair, and get my picture taken? Sign me up! )

And of course, there's more than just the bridge. There's sickbay, and engineering, and the shuttlebay, and Kirk's quarters. There's the Transporter room. All full-sized, all well-detailed, and all scattered with freebies for the Trek fan in anyone.
