HOOooly cow, it's gonna be a RuMbLe in the JuNgLe this Friday- when Averlast boxers go GLOVE-to-GLOVE in regulation Tournament style for the first time this fight season!

Tournament de Marquess of Averlast Rules


The details of how Averlast tournaments works are as followed:

We have 3 different categories of boxers. In each category, fighters will be fighting 2 by 2. The winner of each fight will fight the next boxer on the list in the same category.

There will be 1 winner for each category. Each of the Averlast boxers are paid- how much depending on their division. Winners receiving higher cash prizes.


3 minute Rounds

1 minute rests between rounds

If a fighter is deemed 'too laggy to continue' by the referee, a Technical Knockout, or TKO is declared.

Lightweight Division - 8 KO limit, 3 Round limit
Middleweight Division- 6 KO limit, 5 Round limit
Heavyweight Division - 4 KO limit, 7 Round limit

Prizes for this Tournament:

Lightweight loser = 25
Lightweight winner= 100

Middleweight loser = 50
Middleweight winner = 150

Heavyweight loser = 100
Heavyweight winner = 225

One must be a member of Averlast for at least 1 week before competing in a tourney.

In order to move up in weightclass, one must challenge and defeat a fighter of the higher division prior to a tournament. Fighters may only advance their division once per week. Note that the Coaching staff has final say in the advancement of fighters.
