There is a brand new game system in SL out and about for anyone who is a Mech fan. A man named Xxander Snook, a fabulous coder, came up with a metered combat system which allows for avatars to become the mech of your choice. The game itself is pretty popular and your opponents are anyone and everyone. There is a clan system set up, and a galaxy with stars and planets with point values to be won. During the week it is generally a FFA on the battle field, but clan matches generally happen on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
Come take a look at it if you want. The Place is Double X Island. To try it out there is a small mech called the Wasp and an observer bot which you can watch the action. Each can be got in Double X Island, or the Wasp can be found on http://www.slexchange.com for free.
In the future we are adding an RP sim which will also have a combat meter, but is more focussed on the RP aspect of things for the pilots who want to create thier storyline (In progress, Sim is being built and attached together. A website will also be put up which gives all the information on the Mechs, their strengths, weaknesses and bonuses, as well as the top 200 Mech Pilots with thier Kill Death Eject Ratio
