Yerba Buena Grand Opening Weekend!
May 25th through May 27th.
Join us for the Grand Opening of Second Life’s Newest Residential and Commercial Estate.
Start the weekend off right with a visit to 12 Galaxies Nightclub dancing to the beats of a live DJ. There is no cover charge or membership required for Grand Opening Weekend, so be sure not to miss dancing to the techno and house beats of 12 Galaxies, enjoying the atmosphere with your friends or sneaking off to visit one of our special, private VIP suites.
On Saturday, visit the Yerba Buena Gallery of the Arts, currently hosting the works of Barbara Bickford, Jane Kayell, and Amy Weber. Take a stroll through Chinatown and Yerba Buena’s Shopping District. Be sure to stop in Tiny Town and have afternoon tea with our Resident Dragons and indulge your inner Tiny!
On Sunday, kick back at the beach with surfable waves, play trivia with your friends, or try your hand at our duck shoot or bowling games. Later, dance ballroom style at the resident Pavilion, daydream from the limbs of an apple tree, and view our open house residential homes.
For late night cult classic fun, The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown Friday and Saturday evening at 10pm game time and 12 midnight game time.
As part of our opening weekend specials, resident rentals will have the Yerba Buena & 12 Galaxies group and set up fees waived if you rent your home over Grand Opening Weekend. Retailers renting a shop location will receive one weeks free rent on any contract of 4 weeks or more or a free 12 Galaxies membership. Everyone who decides to call Yerba Buena home will be entered into a raffle drawing with prizes ranging from furniture to gift certificates to items just for fun (drawing will be held the evening of May 28th 2007).
