Dareth Denimore, a graduate student at Cambridge University (UK), celebrates the launch of his new Identity and Intimacy study with a bi-weekly series of discussion groups held at the Outdoor Conference Center in Boardroom (142, 217, 24). The first such meeting is this Friday, March 27, from 5:30 - 6:15 pm; check the classifieds under "Discussion" and "Education" for further dates and times.
The Identity and Intimacy survey has been pilot-tested with members of the Second Life community and has received an overwhelmingly positive response. It is aimed at representing residents' different views of offline and online gender identities, relationships, love, and emotions. Initial results will be posted beginning June 2009 so that residents' feedback can be incorporated into the final report.
This survey is open to all adult (RL age 18+) Second Life residents who have not yet taken it, regardless of whether you have ever been in an online relationship. It should take about 20 minutes to complete. Make sure your voices are heard!
