SHIKI's "Moonglow" Lantern Building Competition!

It's almost that time of year again! The Chinese Autumn Moon Festival!

Traditionally, this is the time of year where Chinese people all around the world eat mooncakes and play with lanterns. While mooncakes are delicious, it makes people hungry...so let's do lanterns instead! Everyone can join in the fun!

The traditional lantern is lit by candles and usually features Chinese designs and motifs. They range in designs, from the simple oval sphere with Chinese motifs, to elaborate ones in the shape of dragons, fish or other animals from Chinese mythology. Contemporary lanterns have become far more elaborate, with pagoda-shaped giant ones, even! We've posted some pictures at http://shiki.posterous.com/some-bright-ideas-for-the-shik, in case you're wondering what these lanterns look like.

We're now accepting entries for SHIKI's 'Moonglow' Autumn Moon Festival's Lantern Design Competition, so start cranking up those creative juices! Attractive prizes are to be won, but there're a few rules:

3- Flexi prims and sculpties are encouraged!
