For the June Carnival! This Carnival is hosted on the first day of the Even Months of the Earth year 2008. We hope you will come and join us, below is the featured activities held each month.
Carnival (every first day of the even months)
During this celebration it is often customary to dress in outlandish costumes or masks and attend various masquerade fetes and feasts. Performers and entertainers have a number of chances to use the cover of a mask in order to take part in certain games, as are improper especially for women, one such game it the game of favors, a race where the Free women need to hand out scarves which are traded for kisses... the first one to hand out her scarves is deemed the winner.
EVENTS FOR JUNE 1ST, 2008 ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Game of Favors starts at 9:00 AM PDT and 3PM PDT. Please come a half hour before game time to get your scarves and register.
Jaden Kattun will be telling stories from MagicTales. (Time not specified, check in during day for time)
The greatest Minstrel of Gor, Janus Jungsten will be performing fireside at 10 AM PDT and 4 PM PDT. Please join us for his unique talents, he is a Member of the Castes of Musicians, Poets and Singers.

Kajuralia (every first day of the uneven months)
"The Festival of Slaves", is held in most Gorean cities except Port Kar, where it is not celebrated at all. Upon this day, slaves may take liberties which are otherwise not permitted them during the year, including the drinking of wine and liquor, the freedom to roam at will (provided of course they do not attempt to escape from their owners permanently), the freedom to choose their own sexual partners and to couch with slaves of the opposite sex whom they find attractive, temporary suspension of all work and duties, and even the opportunity to play (minor) tricks and practical jokes upon FreePersons. After the twentieth ahn, however, they are expected to be back in their respective kennels and slave quarters to resume the services required by their imbonded status; slaves who "go renegade" during Kajuralia are typically punished severely if recaptured, and are often executed for such an offense.

Market of Semris (TP on the dock)
At the nearby sim you will find a tavern, an university with information about GOR, a market, a gorean zoo, an arena and much more. Fell free to have a look at this nice sim too.
