Wheelies features a picture gallery, chill out area, rooftop garden and pool, and full conference facilities. This has been professionally built by secondlifer Attim Hokkigai.
Wheelies remains the brainchild of Simon Stevens - aka Simon Walsh, 33 with Cerebral Palsy - and his real life company Enable Enterprises. "After some months, it is good to be back. With more disabled residents in Second Life, the club can continue to be a beacon for peer support and a lot of good old fashion fun."
Wheelies shares the island with the company's virtual training centre on Disability issues called Stevens Centre. With funding from Unltd Millennium awards scheme, the centre plans to revolutionise how training is provided to businesses around the world. Warda
Kawabata, the islands manager, says, "Second Ability is an exciting development in Second Life and I am proud to be a part of it."
Please IM Cher Harrington or Simon Walsh for a tp or more information about Second Ablility.
