We are very proud to annouce The First SL Chapter of :

"The Jr.Order of United Human Mechanics", (Jr.O.U.A.M.)
Council #1 Lodge Hall
or simply, "The JR. ORDER"

Our lodge is located in Bonga, and we extend an invitation to all interested parties who stand by the same principles as described below, to join us in our camaraderie & fellowship by visiting our establishment, introducing yourselves, and sharing your thoughts & ideals for a unified, just and peaceful world.

The begining of the Jr. Order of United Human Mechanics started with the birth of a similar organization here in Ameican. The Jr. Order, was formed in 1853, with it's own agenda, for specific reasons, under the motto of the Order, "Our Country". The result was to begin a period of healing in America to promote the creed of our Order, “Principles, not Men”. The Jr. O.U.A.M. organized and its members conducted business legally and ethically. It began as a society of brothers to promote trade among its members, and it flourished. It was restoring order to a society that harbored hatred. Organizations like the Jr. O.U.A.M. were the saving grace of American society, not the destroyers. They have grown in years and in understanding.

The Junior Order was not founded on chaos and destruction, rather because of it. It was out of the chaos and destruction that organizations such as the Jr.OUAM grew - to save America. Today they continue to do what they can to preserve America.

Junior’s around America prefer to teach tolerance and not bigotry; kindness not cruelty; benevolence not malevolence; acceptance not rejection; and love not hatred. It doesn't take a very big person to carry a grudge, and we carry no grudges. *These are the Ideals the members of the Jr. Order of Human Mechanics also strive to preserve.*

It's always important for us to remember that ..."Good judgment often comes from a lot of bad judgment." America has had her share of bad judgment. We pray that we're beyond many of the troublesome periods in America, and we pray for mercy, not justice.

There are many organizations in America with similar values and principles - Masons, York Rite, Scottish Rite, BPOE, IBPOE, Moose, VFW, DAV, IOOF, IORM, and many more. They all have similar objectives - helping individuals lead richer and more fulfilling lives. The Juniors are the oldest American formed group still in existance.

Now, a few members of the Jr.OUAM Have Formed a brand new organization in the virtual world.
**We are The Jr. Order of United Human Mechanics.**
Carrying over with us from the Jr.OUAM the values we have always held so dear, we exstend membership to the Jr.OUHM, to all of the world.

Our first virtual Meeting place is in The virtual world of "Second Life", in the Sim of Bonga. (10,245,116)
Hence our council here is *"Second Life Council #1"*

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Our code is fraternal brotherhood in all that the term implies.
Our social conscience is shaped by the laws of God.
Our civil conduct, by the laws of the nation.
Our foundation, an indestructible love for both.
