Well, it's May and May means PROMS!!! I am pleased to announce the Third Annual Proms of the Decades. Only this year, the Proms will be held to raise money for the Second Life Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
There will be five decades of Proms during spring. Each week will feature music from a specific era: May 4 - 1950's; May 11- 1960's; May 18- 1970's; May 25- 1980's; and June 1 - 1990's.
There is no cover charge but donations are requested in any amount that you can afford. If you cannot afford a donation, come for the fun of it. Also, you may request a specific song for a donation of 50 lindens (although a larger donation will not be turned down). An honorary king and queen will be chosen by popular vote at the end of each prom.
The Proms will take place on the above dates from 6 pm to 9 pm SL time, in Whiskey Sim, 90, 200, 68. That will put you right outside the gym doors.
Please dress in the style of the decade and come help us enjoy the best music of each decade and raise monies for a wonderful cause.
We will also be selling the top five Build a Bear winners from our Build a Bear for Relay for Life Event, for 250 lindens. These will become collector items some day, so get in on the deal now.
