Calling all water LSL scripters!
Have you ever wanted to do something really big and really cool but never found the motivation? How is a fountain 100m by 75m sound for size and a first prize of $250 and a contract to build the coolest fountain in Second Life sound?
The contest begins now and ends on July 4th. All contest entries must be received before July 5th and must contain all elements of the full sized fountain with the exception that contest entries should not be 100m by 75m meters!
Contest Rules:
1. Those who wish to participate in this contest must contact Itico Spectre.
2. Bids for full size fountain construction should be included with contest entry. (Itico Spectre will not be judging contest entries. Bids will not be revealed until after judging.)
2. All contestants must not build their entries on Isle of Dreams.
3. Fountains must contain all elements of the real Bellagio fountain. (See links below.)
4. Fountains may use particles, flexi, texture or prim animation and any other technique allowed by Second Life, the Lindens and the law.
5. Again, entries should not be 100m x 75m or anywhere near that big. We are looking for quality.
6. All entries should be as low-lag as possible.
7. All entries should wow my stripes off, and I'm a tough critic!
8. Entries should run no more then a 5 minute show.
All entries will be judged on quality of workmanship, scripting, lag and showmenship.
The winner or winning group will receive USD $250 and the contract to build the full size fountain that is to be the centerpiece of Isle of Dreams. Final contract will be negotiated after the contest. To be a finalist, we need enough information from contestants to know that you are real and we know how to ship you the money.
