You are cordially invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Home, Garden and Patio Expo raising money for Relay For Life, taking place May 4th through May 10th, 2009 hosted by The All-Stars Relay for Life Team benefitting the Relay for Life and American Cancer Society. We have rented 4 Sims for this event and set up will take place the 2nd and 3rd of May. That's right! The expo will double in size this year! Last year, was fun and successful; this year will be even better. New things have been planned for the expo this year.
This expo features builders from all areas of home and land decor in SL. From prefabs and furniture to flowers and swimming pools, this event brings a wide variety of merchandise available in SL, to those wanting to decorate their homes and land.
Each exhibitor will have their own area, to set up as they please, to display their work for sale to the general SL public. Each area will be 2048 sq. m and will allow 650 prims. Prefabs will have to be displayed, by image, on static display boards, although a prefab may be used as your set up. But, no temporary rezzers will be allowed to display prefabs, in fact, scripts of any kind will be kept limited, but will be considered on a case by case basis. Our goal is to keep the lag down, to ensure enjoyable and easy shopping for our visitors.
Each participant will be asked to place two of of our RFL team vendors selling one unique item in each, created specifically for this expo. You are more than welcome to place more than two of our vendors if you like, the more raised for this wonderful cause, the better!
We also ask that each participant pay a 2000L entry fee, to offset the costs of this expo. There are a limited number of expo spaces available. Additional smaller booths may become available as expo time nears, on a first come, first served basis.
There will be many opportunities for you to reserve advertising space across the sim and at the entertainment area, as well. Speaking of entertainment.... there will be musical entertainment every night of the expo in the main stage area, featuring some of SL's greatest DJ's and Live Music Performers. The expo will be housing the very popular raffle hut again and new this year is the Expo Classroom and Auction House.
A full PR committee will work constantly to bring visitors to the Expo, everyday. This event will be jam packed with talented content creators, and space is limited, so if you are interested in participating, please contact Nikki Mathieson as soon as possible to reserve your spot!!
