Greetings Performing Artist

We are contacting you on behalf of SL's Burning Life event which will take place Sept. 24th to Oct 1st, for all of the various genres of the SL arts community to share thier talents and vision. This is regarding booking for the offical Center Camp stage that sits on 4 sims. This is a very large multi sim event with a lot of attention. We are seeking musicians, DJ's, and comedians to perform over the 8 day course of the event. This is modeled after the RL Burning Man event and is a Resident Run Non-Profit Group. Burning Life is about collaborative art and expression - NOT Commerce. This means if you would like to be a part of this very large and high profile event you do so as a volunteer. This means you will not be paid to play or be allowed a tip jar, nor advertise. Notices will be posted in Live music enthusiast, and SLMC, also all names already spoken to will recieve this card directly with an IM and scheduling can be done immediately at that time as well.

HOW TO GET A SLOT.

1.Please visit http://burninglife.org/calendar/
and look at the timeslots available. Each slot has been numbered. Also times may be adjusted some just ask.

2.Choose the slot that best suits you. Give us 3 choices in order of preference.

Email or drop a note card (please title it <your name> -“ BL07 ENT. Preference” and include any info regarding special needs and if you are interested and/or able to be last minute backup for no shows or cancellations and any times and days you would be willing or able to.

Please only contact one of the 2 names given to eliminate confusion, but feel free to use more than one method.
Slots are allocated on a first come first serve basis. To ensure a space make sure the note card or IM reaches us by September 15th at 10am SL. Please note that submissions after the deadline may have to be schedualed elsewhere, not in Center Camp stage.

3. Confirming timeslot- within 24 hours of sending their request they can return to the calendar to see exactly which choice they got.

4. Musicians will be required to confirm that they are still able to by posting their time slot to the SL events forum a minimum of 48 hours in advance, we will be checking the in world search live music for these postings as verification.

5. Day of event 10-20 minutes before each performer spam of relevant groups goes out. Performer spams own fan base.

6. Stream will be provided

7. If cancellation is necessary, please let us know as soon as possible.

8. More Austrailian/Asian time slots can be created, please ask.
