The Grand McNally Comedy Club will be having it's first "Open Mic Night" this Friday, June 6th at 5pm SL time.. The prize will be L$ 500 and will be given one profile pic created by me. You may also be considered to join our crew of comedians.
There are eight spots for groups and they are on a first come, first served basis. All entries must be received by Thursday night. Your entry must be over 10 minutes long but not exceed 15 minutes. While I will not eat you for going over, it is extremely important that you do not cut into someone else's time. You WILL LOSE points for every minute you are over.
You can compete as an individual or as an group, however, all prizes will be split among the group. For example: if you are a group of three and you win, each member will receive L$ 167 and the group will receive the same profile pic of group. You will also be booked as a group at my club.
NO TIP JARS OTHER THAN THE CLUB'S WILL BE PERMITTED, ONLY THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE LINDENS.
This is a fundraiser for my club as well as a talent search. Therefore, I will not allow anyone to rezz tip jars. If you do, it will be returned and you will be disqualified.
ALL GROUPS MUST REMAIN AT THE CLUB UNTIL THE END OF THE EVENT.
You will be lined up on the stage at the end so the audience can vote. If you leave before the end, you drop out of the race.
*Please Note: Even if you are not the winner, you may be asked to join our crew. Also, winning does not guarantee a job with us. THE DECISION OF THE MANAGEMENT IS FINAL!!!*

Scoring:
50% - Audience vote. The audience will vote for the one group they thought was best through "secret ballet" aka im. They will only get one vote each. Also, performers will not be allowed to vote. So bring your friends to vote for you!
50% - Technical Score. I will give each group a score from 1 to 100. 100 being the best and 1 being the worst. Then I will add in any time penalties acquired. A team will lose 10 points for each minute over or for every minute under 10 minutes. In the event of a tie, we will play sudden death. (For more information - IM Alley McNally).
