Come wander as you wonder at the 5th Annual Riverwalk Holidays. For the uninitiated, this yearly celebration in SecondLife begins with an "Open House Evening" Thanksgiving (US), November 27, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm SLT. Fireworks will be displayed every half-hour, on the half-hour, for the duration of the event and nightly thereafter.
Dress casual or dress in your finest. A gown or jeans, a tux or a tee - even turn-of-the century top hats and tails are often seen on "The Walk" during the holidays. Whatever is your pleasure. Stroll the walks, admire the art, steal a kiss under the mistletoe from that special someone, or sit on Santa'a lap for a memorable holiday picture.
Please join us in our annual SL tradition to meet, greet, and enjoy the sights and sounds of this happy holiday season. Music, art, lights, and lasting memories - even 7S Fishing!
As is our custom, The Riverwalk Holidays continues through Twelfthnight in January. So, if you are unable to join us for the open-house event, the Riverwalk Holidays will be available 24/7 until the end of the season.
This event is also a great time for current RW artists to "refresh" their displays or meet some of your patrons - or simply hang out with some friends. We do have quite a few new artists on display since the last "Holidays" so one can also take the time to see the new works that are being offered.
During the RW Holidays, we also will be hosting additional "Meet the Artist" events. If you would like to schedule your first one, or even if you want to schedule a follow-up, just let us know and we can set it up.
