Assault on Galea Town!! (SpellFire system)
A Team Sparring Event using SpellFire will be held in Galea Town in Imrath Tir. Team captains will be chosen from those present. The captains will pick the players for each team.
One Team will assault through the town gate the other team will defend. Once a player is meter killed they are out until the battle ends. Healing will be allowed ONLY by healers, druids, and the like. Resurrections will not be allowed.
Once all of one team has been meter killed meters will be reset and the teams will switch sides and do the battle again.
Everyone may use a character that they commonly use for roleplay in their own realm. Any and all character types and species may participate. (Fighters, Healers, Mages, Druids, Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dragons, etc) Please use relatively small or even bipedal avatars if you are a dragon or the like. Everyone is encouraged to keep their avatar rendering cost low to help reduce lag.
Only appropriate classes (Healers, Druids, etc) may use potions, bandages or other healing.
The first battle everyone may use the normal meter settings for their character and the AC they would normally use in roleplay. If the first battle proves to be unbalanced the second and following battles will be done with everyone using tournament meter settings. The goal is to have fun, so we will see how it goes.
Weapons: Any LEGAL spellfire weapon may be used. There is a weapon tester near the Galea town gate where you can check your weapons. If you have any doubts about a weapon use one that has Aaron’s official scripts, “bullet” prims, etc. instead.
Magic: stick with combat magics that would be acceptable in most roleplay sims. If you have doubts go with something purchased at Stone Keep (the home of SpellFire). Remember, if you wipe everyone out with the “sim-wide Word of Instant Death” it is going to be an awfully boring battle.
