DESCRIPTION:
Lyrics Only- Write a song or even a poem that can be converted into a song. It can be about anything you like; partying, love, hate - whatever! Subject matter is up to you!
Songs will be judged on:
1. Flow- how well does the song flow together? Does it tell a story or make a point? Obscure subjects welcome!
2. Originality - how unique is it?
3. Presentation- How well is the song presented? Is it clear?
HOW TO ENTER:
Write your song on a notecard (Lyrics only) and submit it to Nanu Ragu by the deadline (May 8th). Title the Notecard "RastaMan's SongWriting Contest <your name>"
OFFICIAL RULES AND DISCLAIMER
1. All songs submitted become property of Fishbone Industries and RastaMan Sorbet.
2. All Entries must be submitted no later than Friday May 8th to be considered
3. Enter as many entries as you like but each person is only entitled to one prize.
4. Songs MUST be written by YOU! Plagerism will not be tollerated. Song theft will be an automatic disqualification.
5. A panel of four judges will score each entry according to the rules, and in the event of a tie, a special fifth judge will step in.
PRIZES:
3rd place- 500L and a Gift Certificate good for 1 free proffesional photo done by Dork Studios.
2nd Place - 1000L, a Gift Certificate for JJ Lanes Fine Furniture, and a Gift Certificate good toward 1 free professional photo by Dork Studios.
1st Place - Rasta's very own custom Chopper from Mayhem Choppers, a 5000L Gift certificate for The Adult Playground, and a Gift Certificate for one free photo shoot at Dork Studios (2 photos).
