I am a German SL-livemusician just for fun in this SL-work. Im not a professional musician RL but try to do gigs in SL as often as I can.
I turned to drums and started playing in schools band and forming garage bands. We performed on different stages. I had drum lessons for nearly 12 years, till the teacher couldnt show me anything else.
Instead of finding a new teacher, I got the old guitar of my Dad and trained myself on it for some years until I found out that the piano is much easier for me to learn autodidactically. So i switched to E-piano and began to train that.
