Message from the Bridge:
Welcome aboard! If you haven't noticed....it is near the end of the month and with that comes time to move to our next port of call. We have now docked with New England! It is a great location with lots to see and do. Not to mention great events as well!
Tis the season for spooookyness. With that in mind the Galaxy staff are hard at work decorating for the season. Special events are being planned as well. Stay tuned for updates!

This week we are starting a new feature: Shop of the week. Each week we will feature a shop from our mall with discounts and specials only available at the Galaxy! This weeks shop is: Matahari Style. See the shop of the week section below for full details on this weeks specials. Remember buying "local" not only gets you the items you want but also helps our mall vendors which in turn helps the Galaxy.
We have a few and special events this week. First our air tours have returned and we have two special music events! Frist on Friday we have DJ Otawan Fouquet at 12pm thenDJ Xavian swing'n the ship at 6pm with the best in swing music. And on Saturday 4pm we have Bridget Cassavetes LIVE in concert!
Of course we have many other great events this week including: DJ Bobby, DJ Damien, DJ Palooka, Air tours, DJ Shrike, Jogging track event, DJ Shazzray, Fishing Contests, Yoga Class, DJ Danton,! Be sure to see below for complete details!

ONGOING GALAXY EVENTS:
Art Exhibit: SL New England
This months exhibit in the Nova Straaf Gallery features artists from our current port of SL New England and features 2 talented people: Lux Chiantelle and Emme Eales!
Emme Eales has been a profesional stained glass artist for the past 18 yrs, involved in many large church projects in and around the New England, USA area, including Tiffany glass restoration.
Lux Chiantelle - American RL artist working in all medias, explores pop culture, and enjoys collaborations. Look for new work October 31st, as well as the launch of her website, www.loveneverdead.com.
Keep a eye out for the offical opening party of this great exhibit to be announced soon!

Air Tour around the Galaxy 1-2pm SLT at the Helipads
The Galaxy is pleased to announce that our regular air tours around the ship and beyond has returned. As usual they start on the AFT helipads. If you have any questions contact Dacob Paine. The tours are very enjoyable and give you a full view of the entire ship (and beyond).

Audio Book: Starwars: The Courtship of Princess Leia 7pm at the Poseidon Hall
Are you a Science Fiction Fan? Do you like Star Wars? Then you are in luck! Today we have part 3 of the 4 part book The Courtship Of Princess Leia audio book in our Constellation Lounge! Each part is about a hour with part 4 being next week.
The Courtship of Princess Leia is a 1995 bestselling Star Wars book by Dave Wolverton. It continued the streak of New York Times Bestsellers, which started with Heir to the Empire. The Courtship of Princess Leia is set in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and deals with the downfall of Warlord Zsinj and the circumstances leading to the marriage of Han Solo and Princess Leia.

Fishing Contest 3-4pm SLT at the Boarding Gangway
A unlimited 7seas fishing contest is to take place from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. The first place winner will receive a VIP Star Suite certificate! 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive what every fisherman needs BAIT! Hope you will join us. A Prize pot starting at 100L will also be divided among the winners.
