The Alcove is a new development, and is looking for initial occupancy. Prime spaces are available in all areas of the development, and now is the time for you to stake your claim around the event areas of the Courtyard, and the Plaza, which are designed for DJ'd events and parties, featuring rez-on-demand sound systems and effects.
The Courtyard is located to the East, down below the fogline, with plenty of shops right on it. The Courtyard creates an environment where people come to listen to House style music, with regularly scheduled real life DJ's. This is a street party; easily set up, easily taken down, and somewhat spontaneous, and the design of the sound system and booth reflect that, though there's a great attention to detail overall in where all the pieces go.

The Plaza is located above it all. It is the highest point in the build, and its spacious design allows for a more expansive event stage, which, as with the Courtyard, is rez-on-demand. It features a bit of spontaneity in the overall design, but has a more ordered environment. The Plaza will be used, in the future, for larger events, such as a spooky maze for Halloween. It will feature the premier live events hosted at The Alcove, while the Courtyard will maintain itself as a party location.

The main areas aren't the only pieces of The Alcove that are available. There are quieter areas with charming arrangements where people can sit and relax. From the gardens with their private voice-chat channels, to the Patio, which overlooks pristine woodlands to the West and the constantly shifting SL landscape to the North, to the Outlook area, which is an introspective space, secluded in nature and ethos, but quite accessible. The Outlook area is located on the northeast corner of The Alcove.

There's 24 available shops to look at, ranging from small 50 prim shops to extra large 450 prim shops. On the horizon are small kiosks, which will have 10 prims available for usage, so there is room to you to start small and grow big.
There's so much more I could mention here, but I like a good surprise or two. Do come and look around. Introductory rates are available.
