White Sands Rentals
The distinguishing feature of these rentals is the privacy. No more nosy stalkers, flybys, or griefers invading your privacy. Each island is accessible only by the groups of the tenants who rent there. Therefore the only people who have access to your land are the people you've invited to the group your land is deeded to!
Another key feature is NO UPFRONT FEE - you really can't "buy" land on a private sim anyway so why be deceived by that claim. Only the person making the payment to Linden Labs will ever be the true owner. All island land is rental!
