No matter who you buy / rent land from it’s going to cost you lindens, period. If you want a home and don’t want to spend Lindens, STOP HERE!
You rent, you pay a weekly rent for a certain about of prims, anywhere’s from 3 lindens and up per prim. 100 prims costs you 300 a week. Most of the people I know in sl can not survive on a 100. The house is a cheese box or high in the sky.
The biggest difference is in if you buy a parcel how much does it cost, land costs are all over the map currently and according to the new Linden CEO it’s 7.25 per meter( honestly, that’s way to high in my opinion)
So sure I want to sell you a parcel of land and I do make a few lindens. What can I give you?
• Parcels 2048 with 538 prims, 4096 with 1078 prims for ONE linden, sell it when you move on even if you get a 100 lindens, you made money!!
