I'm about a week out from really taking off and launching with my location. I'm going to run a little contest and give away to two Second Life residents’ stores with free rent. It's a great location, with a unique theme, and there's an excellent up and coming skins maker next door for traffic sharing.
The criteria for my judging who gets the free stores will be the following.
1. Creativity of Product offering
2. Market potential for growth and demand
3. Your commitment to the location and traffic generation
4. How well your product fits the location and theme
5. If I like you.
This is for free rent and down the road I will not charge you ever. As long as you build your business and make a fair and honest effort to advertise and drive business to your store and the overall location you can stay as long as you want for free.
You will get to pick which one of the four stores you'd like, as long as that one is still available and it's yours to use. You can have 100 prims to stock the store with. We can discuss increasing if the need arises down the road.
I'll be sending out a notice to all those who are in my "Cabo Rocks Zyngo" group tomorrow, so if you have not signed up for it, please search under groups and sign-up for it it's free and required to be considered.
Deadline will be July 17th and Cabo Rocks Grand opening is planned for July 21st. I'll make my decision by the 19th of July and give you the keys on that day. I'm thinking about choosing one resident whose products are already established in SL and would like a second location or who would want to move their entire location to Cabo Rocks. Then I want to sponsor and award a store to a new resident who has not yet opened their own location but has built up an inventory of respectable products.
