Notes: This is half of an open space sim. Openspaces run 4 regions to a single CPU and will run a little bit slower than a normal sim. I offer these spaces to people who want much more privacy and land/water than a plot on a normal sim. Linden Lab offers this warning:
**** Openspaces are offered to allow Estate owners to create open ocean or land in and around their Regions in the same way that the Linden mainland does. They are intended for "light use" rather than Residential areas with large amounts of content or scripts. While they can and have been used in other ways, they are not recommended for any other purpose. ****
I personally have my own openspace sim for my residence, and use dozens of scuptie mega prims and have a good deal of scripted furniture and have had no issues so far. There are many openspace sims in Winterfell and I have not heard of any problems that couldn’t be worked through with some trouble shooting, much like any normal sim.
When you purchase all or part of an open space sim you will be given Estate Manager status of that sim, which allows you to debug, estate ban, and control addition settings not normally accessible to land owners on the normal sims. Because this is half a sim, you will share these rights with another resident who will live on the other half of the sim. I expect any issues, (I never had have any in the past) but I am available for all mediation if need be.
