The Wastelands is well on it's way to it's third sim, so now is your opportunity to get a lot. If you don't want to wait there are two available parcels in the junk yard right now (a resident is moving).

The Great Fissure
--------------------------------------------------
This island is double prim, which means 512m has the same prim allowance as a 1024 in legacy wastelands sims. More space between neighbors :)
If you wish to live in the Great Fissure Wastelands sim, please visit the URL and pay a marker. You can make a reservation, but these reservations unlike the reserve list mean you intend to purchase the parcel on the opening day of the sim, so please don't touch them unless you mean it. If you reserve it's no guarantee that you will get the plot, a paying person can just buy it out from someone who reserved it. Again, please only reserve if you're certain about it. Buying is a guarantee you get the plot once I order the sim.

Each plot has a buy-in fee, just like all land in Second Life, you must purchase it, and then you must pay tier on it, but you pay tier to me instead of Linden Labs.
A plot with 234 prims runs at USD $26.15 on a fresh sim, which at $L275 is about $L7191. For each plot you wish to live on you must pay that buy in fee. The first 4 weeks *ARE* included on the map markers.

Double Prim Monthly Tier
Area in m² Prim Allotment USD$ per month
512m² 234 prims 8.50 USD equiv. in $L per month
768m² 351 prims 12.75 USD equiv. in $L per month
1024m² 468 prims 17.00 USD equiv. in $L per month
1536m² 702 prims 25.50 USD equiv. in $L per month
2048m² 936 prims 34.00 USD equiv. in $L per month

Reserve markers are refundable if you change your mind, or if the demand isn't met according to plan. The Linden paid to the markers will be held until the sim is purchased. Once the sim is ordered, there are no refunds.
According to my last sim opening, this sim will open probably about 1 week after I place the order for it, however it could take longer, or less time. I will order the sim when most of the map is purchased.

Main Feature:
--------------------------------------------------
The Wastelands has a bunker and lots of intact roads.
The Junkyard has crumbling overhead highway passes, and the Junkyard itself.
At the Great Fissure the roads from the Wastelands will trail off to be ultimately consumed by the sands and time. There will be a large earthen fracture in the southern part of the sim. At the bottom of this fracture there will be "fresh" water, although not much. The center of the fissure will have a crag with bridges leading to the top of it. All throughout the fissure's cliffs there will be salvaged bridges going from salvaged hut to salvaged hut.

Info for those who wish to RP:
--------------------------------------------------
For RP purposes the great fissure is the result of a geological event triggered by a man made catastrophe. As a result any intact-ish buildings shouldn't be higher than two stories. The whole sim is really made of whatever we could find to shelter ourselves. In the southern part of the sim the great fissure opens up and drops about 40m revealing what is left of the few rainfalls we get a year. It's generally cooler in the shade of the great fissure, and humid as the winds don't blow the moisture away. This is a great place for bugs to breed, lots of large tasty critters to be had by the general mutant population that has taken residence in the cliffs of the fissure.
