I. What is Nerani?
Nerani is a brand-new sim on the mainlands of SL. The term "mainland" means that the sim is operated on servers hosted and maintained directly by Linden Labs, the creators of Second Life (SL). The land itself is property of "Willi's Real Estate" (WRE), a privately owned virtual company in SL.
Nerani is meant to provide residential areas, free from any industrial and commercial zones. You may find one or the other small shop here so that you can buy whatever you need for your daily life, however, you won't come across huge shopping malls or busy casinos or noisy night clubs. The main purpose is and will be to provide peaceful homes for SL residents. Always and forever!
Land on Nerani is merely rented not purchased. This means that tenants pay a weekly fee to WRE, the land owner. It is not necessary to have a premium account with SL, a free basic account is sufficient. The weekly fee is used by WRE to pay the mandatory monthly land use fee to Linden Labs and to ensure that this place remains a clean and nice residential area. What you get in turn is a wonderful place to relax and to recover from the daily pressure and stress of your real life!

II. Land fees
Land to rent on Nerani is available as standard sized parcels. The following table is an overview of the currently available parcel sizes together with their weekly fee and number of primitives ("prims"
a tenant can build on them:a. Parcel size: 512 sqm, weekly fee: L$249, prims: 117
b. Parcel size: 1024 sqm, weekly fee: L$498, prims: 234
c. Parcel size: 2048 sqm, weekly fee: L$995, prims: 468
d. Parcel size: 4096 sqm, weekly fee: L$1990, prims: 936
Weekly fees cover everything, there are no additonal costs involved!

please refer to one of the official SL sites, such as: http://secondlife.com/currency/.Fees are to be paid in advance. Tenants can decide on their own for how many weeks they'd like to rent the parcel. Minimum rental time is one week, maximum is 52 weeks. If the rental period is soon to expire you will receive an appropriate in-game message (IM) three days in advance. You can then decide whether you want to extend your rental period by again paying the fee for one or more weeks, or you can decide to phase out the rental time by simply not paying additional fees.
If the rental time has expired you have a total of three days to decide whether you'd like to extend the rental period or not. If you don't pay additional fee duirng this time the rental contract with you will automatically be cancelled and the parcel can be rented by another resident. However, if you decide to leave the parcel we would be very happy if you could send us a quick note about your reasoning. Of course, this is purely voluntary but knowing the reason why you leave may help us to improve the attractiveness of Nerani.
Most parcels on Nerani come with a pre-build standard house. Tenants can freely decide whether they want to rent the parcel with or without that house. If they like a particular parcel but don't like the house on it they can get a copy of one of the other available houses. Taking a house does not involve any additional charges or costs, they are granted for free. However, if you rather like to build your own house or if you have already a house from another source we are more than happy to remove the standard house and free up the space before you move in!
Cancellation: You may cancel your contract at any time! You get a refund for the prepaid remaining days.
