Monthly Tier is calculated by taking the size of the parcel and multiplying by 2.25. So for example a 2,000 SQ Meter parcel would be 4500 Lindens per month.
If you wish to lower youe tier you may do so by paying 1 or 2 months in ADDITION to your current month, which is prorated by your purchase date.
If you pay 1 month addtional then your tier would be the full tier less 10%. If you pay 2 months additonal then your tier would be the full tier less 20%..
So in our example: if yuu purchase 2,000 sq meters and you paid 4500 Lindens down then your tier would be 4500 less 10%(450) or 4,050 per month.. If you paid 9000 lindens down then your teir would be 4500 less 29%(900) or 3600 LIndens per month
