Okay - so it's not until June that we have to worry about the whole "Adult Content" rules kicking in, but we knew that we were going to have to do our thing eventually. So we picked up our own sim and have about a quarter of it parceled off for people who would like to be able to get a jump on the rush. This is a private island (Serenity) and will be set to "Adult" in June or whenever they start the new rules.

You can see information on the new adult rules here:
(Heh - I can't link to the blog post in here because it has the word u.p.d.a.t.e in it) Here is the FAQ instead:

Now... the land...

Serenity is the home of Rygel and Lustbaby's workshop. Though we do have a mall area and weekly fishing contests, there are no clubs on the land. We are looking for people who are looking for residential and or light commercial (no clubs or malls) but you are welcome to set up your shop. If you are going to need more than 5 or 6 vendors, let me know before you purchase the land though - I kind of want to ensure that the place stays relatively lag free.

The ground level is set up as a sort of park and recreation area - we have fishing, horseback riding, jumping, barrel racing, fencing, and I am going to be putting in a golf course soon - well, probably only a few holes. In the end, we're decorating the ground level to be a nice casual place to hang out, have fun, and relax. You're welcome to build on the ground level so long as it fits in with the area. And, of course - up in the sky (over 1000 meters please) you can make builds for whatever them and idea you want.

You are welcome to hang out and bring your friends to all the common areas and amenities. All of the lots overlook the "bay" and have protected borders on at least one side. Most of them are also up against a sim border so that side is protected as well.

Okay... let's talk money... I tried to get the tier pricing at the low end of average:

Tier Rates:
1024 sqm / 234 prims = L$2900/month
2048 sqm / 468 prims = L$5800/month
4096 sqm / 937 prims = L$7600/month

Sale price on each parcel is 1,000, 2000, and 4,000 (linden dollars).

To see the land - bring up your map, turn on the for sale overlay and type "Serenity".

Or go here: secondlife://124/65/24 and bring up the map to see the "yellow blocks". I've left the land pretty flat and open so turning on "property lines" in your viewer (ctrl+alt+shift+P) will help you see the plots too.

And I guess that's about it for the basic info. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. We're pretty laid back and want to ensure that we provide a place where everyone can do what they want. So while we want to reduce lag as best we can and we want to keep the ground level looking pleasant and inviting, we're pretty open to any ideas you have and won't be bothering you with a bunch of nonsense and rules other than the basic "Make it look good on the ground level - use the sky for other themed builds/shops, build your shop, but keep the vendor counts and texture counts down as best you can, and have fun - clothing is optional!" lol

IM me in world if you have questions or need help.
