There are some residents in Second Life that have a special place in their heart for the old mainland. I myself feel almost like a fetishist when it comes to the Sansara continent. Sansara was the very first continent in what we know now as the Second LifeĀ® world. The diversity of landscape and character of these lands are unmatched anywhere in Second Life. This is a large chunk of those original lands and I would anticipate it would appeal mostly to SL history fans, serious land collectors and those who know a safe investment. Nostalgia aint what it used to be and this is a bona fide piece of the jigsaw in regard to virtual worlds. For the more practical amongst you this land offers a few interesting topographical features, your own mountain, unblock-able access to a Linden River, bordered by a Linden waterfall and nestled between road junction leading you to Thesys and Mount St. Pintens to the west, the snow lands Steamboat (the home of Ninjaland) to the east and Garmish, leading to Chalet Linden in Wengen to the south.
