Click on your location and it will bring up the 'About Land' window. This window will have a 'Buy Land' button, as well as show the price to buy the land. The price you pay to purchase the land only needs to be paid once.

***IMPORTANT: PAYING TIER***
Tier is part of life in Second Life. Everyone must pay Linden Lab monthly for all the land they own. The more land you own in total, the more you are expected to pay. This payment you make for the right to own land is called 'tier'. Here at Azure, we offer a unique approach to tier....
Each lot has a 'tier meter' used to pay tier. It is found on the outside of each lot, facing the land. To find the price of tier, click the meter. PLEASE check the price yourself before buying.
Our meters work more like a parking meter. To pay tier, you purchase time on the meter as needed. This is done by right-clicking the meter and selecting 'Pay'. You may add anywhere from a day to 8 weeks when you make a payment. Clicking the meter will tell you how much time you have remaining.

All guests and residents of Azure Islands need to follow our rules while on the islands. These rules allow everyone to enjoy their land. For problems, please file an 'Abuse Report' and contact us. Please include sim name and location!
** Harassment
We want all of our residents to be happy. We feel strongly about this. Sadly, there are many ways to harass other people in Second Life. Due to this, we do not have a strict definition of 'harassment'. Harassment can be:
- Spam.
- Weapons fire of ANY kind.
- Trapping people in cages.
- Annoying sound loops.
- Other kinds of abuse towards other residents.
** Security Systems
You are allowed to use ban lines and encourage use of the 'Access' list for your land. However, security systems can be used as long as they give at least 30 seconds warning. Also, they may not attack anyone -- a simple ban or teleport home is fine. Systems may be returned to you if they cause issues.
** Sim 'Lag' and Resources
We may ask you to stop using items found to disrupt or lag a sim. We do not allow:
- Sim crashing objects or scripts, including physics toys.
- Scripts or collections of scripts that unfairly use the sim.
- 'Free Prim'/Temp-on-Rez objects.
- Other kinds of abuse towards a sim.
In the case of a serious issue, abusive objects may be returned. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know that there is a problem.

Our residential zone is a place for everyone to enjoy a peaceful neighborhood. While we do not require you to follow a theme, we do have some rules to help keep things peaceful.
Usage:
** We do not allow commercial use of residential land. This is not limited to:
- Advertising.
- Stores, malls and vendors.
- Clubs, schools or other large gathering places -- public or private.
- Money does not actually have to be exchanged in some cases to fall under this.
** You may, however, hold events such as yard sales, weddings and small gatherings at your home -- as long as they last no more than a day or two.
** No subletting or renting your land without specific approval. Please see the end of this section for more details.
** When in doubt, please follow the Golden Rule and respect your neighbors.
Building:
** Main buildings must be 4 meters from the lot borders. (NOTE: Double-Prim land does not need to follow this.)
** No building may be taller than the shortest side of the plot.
** Minor decorations such as trees may be taller, but must not be disruptive.
** Fences and walls are allowed, but may be no taller than 10 meters.
** Skyboxes and other floating builds must be 250 meters above the ground or higher.
** No disruptive flashing, spinning or particle using builds.
** For Sale signs are allowed with the following rules:
- One sign per parcel.
- The sign must be no larger than 10x5x5 meters in rectangular shape.
- You may script your sign to give information privately when clicked. This may not be sent to a public chat channel, nor can it be sent unasked for.
- We provide our own For Sale signs. If you'd like one, please ask!
Terraforming:
** Sims are set to allow +4 to -4 meters from the original shape.
** You may shape land as you please, though we ask you to be polite.
Renting/Subletting:
All parcels purchased after January 25th, 2007 require our permission to be rented. This rule is to preserve our residential land and its community. Please remember that this is a privilege and not a right. You may contact us to receive our guidelines and seek approval.

We have built a small number of Science-Fiction/Cyberpunk themed sims for residents to enjoy. They follow the same zoning rules as Residenial land with several important distinctions:
** Light commercial use is allowed as long as it is in a Sci-Fi, Cyberpunk, or Fantasy theme. Examples of light commercial activity are:
- A bar.
- A small store selling in-theme items and clothes. We do NOT allow malls.
- A *small* club that completely follows the theme. These must be serious, simply naming a club 'Club Pluto' is not enough.
You do not need to follow theme if you follow the Residential Zoning laws only.

The Commercial Zone is one of our most popular areas. It is here that you may run any kind of business or place you wish with few rules.
Building and Use:

** Part of our Global Policy includes spam. This includes objects that send a large amount of chat outside of your store.
** We take things such as CopyBot very seriously. But as a reminder, objects that send '!quit' to everyone nearby no longer work.
** You may sublet/rent the property as you see fit.
Terraforming:
** These sims are set to allow +0m -100m. You may lower land however you wish, however it cannot be raised above the default height.

This beautiful open mall district includes its own building on each lot. The building is for your use at no prim cost to yourself. Due to the special theme of this zone, we have a few extra rules.
Building and Use:
** Global Policy and Commercial Zoning limits apply.
** The provided building may be customized. There is a yellow 'Customize' button at the entrance to the building.
** You may build and decorate how you wish inside the building.
** Building outside the store using linking tricks is allowed. This building cannot be disruptive to others.
** Common sense applies for what is built outside of your building. This means no giant spinning or flashing billboards or offensive objects.
** You may decorate and make use of the roof of the building. However, additional floors and such will need to be discussed with the Azure staff. This is to make sure it keeps in the look of the sim.
Terraforming:
** Terraforming is disabled in this zone.
