Please note: The cost of this Isle is subsidised by the Owner... you will not be paying out to fund his SL existence - just your own! The number of lots is deliberately kept small and they are already disappearing off the market as word of mouth spreads - don't get left out!
Renting on the Isle involves you paying a weekly rent in advance and we will accept up to 3 month’s rent in advance (rental rates are reviewed quarterly to take account of L$ exchange rate moves). Renting here does not affect any tier you may have with Linden; the two are entirely separate. And you do not need to be a Premium Account holder with Linden – saving you $72 a year (that’s 6 month’s rent on a standard plot at the current exchange rate!)
The rent you pay is essentially based on the number of prims you use. There are two sizes of lot – Standard (those with the standard Townhouse) is up to 1024 sq mtrs, and Premium (those with a Julia Hathor designed villa) to 2048. Standard lots carry a prim allowance of 250, and Premium 450.
Rental rates:
Standard: L$750 weekly
Premium: L$1400 weekly
If you rent a Standard lot and use more than 250 prims (for example, by including a sky box), you will be moved to the Premium rental level. We are happy to adjust or combine lot sizes and shapes as you wish within these guidelines, provided it does not affect already rented properties or unduly affect the look of the Isle.
The houses on the Isle are free for you to use and are included in your rental. If you would like a larger lot than 2048, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
There is a small pub, the Rose and Crown, with a jukebox and dance floor, free for you and your guests to use at any time, and a small but popular Antiques & Art shop with many paintings to choose from to decorate your new home.
