Request for Proposals:
== Obscure Sandbox and Obscure Vineyard ==
After three years of owning land in the Obscure sim, it is time for us to move on to other projects. We currently hold almost 1/2 the region as follows:
Obscure Sandbox: 8,032 sq. m.
Obscure Vineyard: 17,520 sq. m.
Obscure Marsh: 7,104 sq. m.
----------------
32,656 sq. m.

The Obscure Sandbox has been a privately held, public sandbox for over three years. It has a small community of caretakers, and has attracted builders of all kinds.
The Obscure Vineyard and Marsh are wonderfully protected plots, with a hill and Linden train on one edge, and a Linden road on the other. The setting is such that sight-lines are relatively free of neighbors. Much of the adjoining land in Obscure is occupied by low-key, residential rentals.
The pair makes for a spectacular main-land setting: Views of the vineyard from the sandbox are particularly striking.
== The Sale ==
We are looking to sell the land, and will accept proposals for purchase now, through the end of October, 2008. We will announce the chosen buyer(s) on November 3rd.
Since the sandbox has always been a community asset, we feel we owe it to the community to look for a buyer who is interested in continuing the tradition that we, and the prior two owners of this land have held. Keeping the space as a sandbox would be ideal, but we would consider other ideas.
We feel the vineyard and marsh plots represent a unique property, and would like to see the next owner use the bulk of these plots in a larger build, rather than simply divide and sell them.
We will consider proposals for only part of the properties, and accept multiple proposals if they are compatible. Any and all objects on the properties can be included in the sale, except BamBam's store, and Zarf's Notary (both of which will be moving.)
Please drop a notecard with details of your proposal to Zarf Vantongerloo. Be sure to include what you'd like to do with the land, and your purchase price. We'd also love to learn a little about you and your projects in Second Life.
Feel free to contact to us if you have any questions. You can e-mail us at: zarf@notabene-sl.com
