Why Rent is better?
When you buy land, regardless of mainland or island parcels, you have to pay a land management tier to either Linden Labs, or to the island owner. This fee is outlined in a number of places, and can set you back a few dollars a month for small parcels.
When you rent, you end up joining a land management group that pays for the tier. Instead of paying for the property AND a monthly tier, you only pay a single fee.
When you rent from us, most of the time, the cost of the rent will be UNDER the price of the tier you would have to pay! This is because we own a lot of land, and our cost of tier is lower.
