We are sculptie fanatics! This sim is nearing the end of our development stage with a commercial area, cottages, waterfront and gorgeous landscaping throughout. Come and grab your space if you love sculpted prims this is the place for you!
its on the old mainland Atoll continent which boast some incredible sights and long channels for boating, a Linden road cuts through it.
If you are considering renting on an estate..why not mainland? The biggest complaints about mainland:
Privacy:
Mainland sims when properly developped can be very private, when terra forming can be done on a full mainland sim scale it creates some interesting and secluded areas.
View:
Gone are the days of floating banners etc.. seriously!!! LL has stamped out 99% of any visual distractions on the horizons. I am seeing many creative.. pleasing builds pop up over many areas in the mainland , lots of quiet residential builds and often very busy commercial areas.
Grief:
In my experience LL's response to grief has been very fast. It a catch 22 for a business owner, for the occasional griefing incident you may get a substantial boost from fly by traffic which barely exists on only the largest private estates.
Performance:
I agree there is an appeal to a brand new server, but on a practical side mainland performance is as good or better than most private estates. The question is draw distance, and because mainland is alot bigger there is more data for the viewer to process, resulting in viewer lag. This is something that can be managed on a sim level on the mainland by reducing texture sizes and good design.

Mainland sim owners can rent for less because we pay less tier to Linden labs.
Expansive environment:
You could start out wandering, especially in the older sections of mainland, explore and find interesting things to see and do. The roads, waterways, and rail lines are a resource that is underused IMO.. take a drive along the highway to see some sights.
Community:
On a private estate you are often subject to the owners vision, on the mainland there is a more urban - chaotic feel which is appealing to many residents. The mainland has lots of cohesive themed areas, more so on larger mainland estates or around Linden sponsored developments.
